Our Wedding

It all started last November with a FaceTime, a glass of wine, and pajamas. Starlyn, expecting another dud on the apps, took a bold first step and challenged Chris to show his face within minutes of chatting on Hinge. Chris, only 48 hours new to any dating app, figured this was normal but would soon discover he was meeting the most amazing woman he'd ever met. What began as casual small talk stretched into an hour of laughter, stories, and the kind of silences that feel like understanding rather than awkwardness. By the time they had their first date over a "char-cutie" board, the FaceTime glow had become something more tangible. One date led to a second, filled with lightning rounds of questions, stories about family, and a first kiss on Starlyn's front porch. Soon they would be slow dancing in the kitchen, arms wrapped tight as if the world outside didn’t exist. It was simple, but it felt like a promise. Thanksgiving came, and they spent it apart, miles away with their families. But they kept their connection alive with long-distance phone calls, each sharing stories about childhood memories and family traditions. In December, Starlyn introduced Chris to his first spin class. Chris grumbled, sweated, and swore he was dying at least twice, but Starlyn’s proud smile at the end made it worth every sore muscle. Then came Christmas in Augusta, where Starlyn met the entire Baxter family. It was loud, loving, and overwhelming in the best way. In January they took their first road trip together to Pensacola. It was meant to be a quick getaway to meet her family, but it turned into one of those memory-making weekends: a playlist full of everything from Dashboard Confessional to Akon to Riley Green, a pit stop at Buc-ees, and an unexpected 10 inches of snow on the beach. Spring found them on hikes in the mountains of Franklin, North Carolina. The air was crisp, the trails quiet, and the views breathtaking. Conversations already included future homes, a family and a destination wedding. In the span of six months, they both found their person, someone they wanted by their side for the rest of their lives. The journey here was not always easy, but falling in love together was the most pure and simple experience for both, and they can't wait to share this celebration of their love with you.

The trip is around 3 hours. - There will be food &amp; drinks. Fruits, sandwiches and a packed cooler with local beer, water and sodas.&nbsp;- Snorkels will be provided.- Bring your own towel.

We are getting married in Turks and Caicos at Beaches Resort on October 24, 2025 at 5 PM.
